2. What data we collect
- Contact form: first name, last name, phone number, email, the service you are interested in and your message. Your IP address and the time of submission are also recorded, for security and spam protection.
- Live chat: whatever you write to us in the chat window, as well as any contact details you choose to share.
- Website statistics: we use Koko Analytics, which runs on our own server, without cookies and without storing IP addresses or any other data that could identify you. We only record aggregate figures, such as how many visits each page received and where visitors came from.
- Technical data: like any website, the server temporarily records data such as your IP address and browser type in log files, for security and to keep the site running properly.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- To respond to your request, send you a quote or provide our services (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract), and on the basis of your consent when you accept this policy in the form (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To keep the site secure, protect it against misuse and improve it through statistics (legitimate interest – Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To comply with legal obligations, e.g. tax obligations, if you become a customer (Art. 6(1)(c)).
We do not use your data for advertising purposes, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own use.
4. Who we share data with
To run the site we work with the following providers, who process data only on our behalf or as part of their service:
- Website hosting and maintenance provider (Firebase Digital), with servers in London, United Kingdom. The United Kingdom is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
- Google (Google Fonts for the site fonts and Google Maps for the map on the contact page). When these load, your browser sends your IP address to Google. Google may process data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
- Yeastar, to run the live chat.
- Public authorities, only where required by law.
5. How long we keep data
- We keep form and chat messages for 12 months after our last contact. If you become a customer, your details are kept for the duration of our cooperation and for as long as tax law requires.
- Server log files are kept for a short period and deleted automatically.
- Website backups are kept for up to 3 months.
6. Cookies
ipfix.gr does not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and our statistics work without cookies. Third-party services embedded in the site, such as Google Maps and the live chat, may use their own cookies. More details in our Cookie Policy.
7. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise your rights, email us at hello@ipfix.gr. We will reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifisias 1–3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr).
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as an encrypted connection (HTTPS), two-factor authentication for access to the site administration, and regular backups.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the way the site works or the law changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
